Frog Man!

I told you about the fun Frog puppet mom bought for me at the zoo! Dad caught a picture of me playing with my frog friend the other day

Today I went to the DeYoung--again!

Well this rain just won't go away so mom has been scrambling for indoor activities. Today we went to the DeYoung Museum. I had gone once before but this time they had a new exhibit on Arts and Crafts and it was really nice. Grandma Julie joined us which was fun! I smiled at her a lot. Today we also went on top of the museum to the observatory tower which was really neat. It was kind of fun seeing the entire city from up high.
Other than that, it's just raining and no fun at all. We try to get out in between storms but it's hard because it seems to rain so much. Mom says she's getting a pretty good case of cabin fever.
The good news is baseball starts this weekend. I hear this is a lot of fun and mom says she plans on taking me to lots of games. I'm really looking forward to visiting dad at work. Hopefully this rain will stop so we can go to some games over the weekend.
I guess that's all to report today. Hope everyone is staying dry.

my first trip to the zoo

Well yesterday was quite a day! The sun finally came out and mom, dad and I went to the SF Zoo. It was so much fun! Mom put me in my baby bjorn so I could see everything and well I got to learn all about the different animals that roam our planet. I particularly liked the penguins. They swam around and were really funny! I also liked the lions who reminded me a lot of my cat friends at home. The Children's Zoo had a really neat duck pond which was also really fun--I got to watch them come in for landings which was kind of cool.
We were there for four hours and mom told me that they've really fixed up the place. She said it used to be very sad because the animals were in such small cages but now they have lots of room to roam so she was happy about that. So mom and dad are going to make me a zoo member so we can go anytime I want. I'm very excited about that.
On another note, I've discovered I have these things called hands. I know this sounds funny but I am now completely facinated by my hands and fingers and how they work together. I spend hours watching my hands and fingers and trying to figure out how they work. It's really fun!
Oh and mom and dad bought me this cool frog hand puppet at the zoo. I like him very much because he has big bug eyes that move around in his head. It makes me laugh!
Last night after my exciting day at the zoo, I went over to grandma Julie's and grandpa Wally's house. That was fun too. I got to see aunt Char and uncle Josh and uncle Walt. They all had fun holding me and telling me how big I've gotten.
I slept pretty well last night after all the excitement and I've been napping pretty well today.
The rain seems to come back so I have no idea what the rest of this week will have in store but I sure had fun yesterday and wanted to share it all with you.
Have a good week all!

my four month check up

Well today I went and saw my pediatrician Dr. Langston. He says I'm a lot of fun to play with. He also says I'm very healthy. I got 4 shots and only cried a little which mom appreciated. I am now 13 pounds 1.4 ounces and 23 inches long. I'm finally sort of catching up to the other kids. I guess I'll get used to being small. Mom says it's kind of fun being small.
Other than that all is well here.
I went over to grandma Julie's yesterday and got to see my uncle Walter who's been off in Europe. He was blown away by how much I've grown. I also got to see grandma Diane for a while.
This morning mom and I went for an extra long walk because the weather was so nice. Finally!
Anyway, I guess that's all to report. I hope everyone is well.

Waking up

This is me in the morning when I am always the happiest. It is usually 5:30 to 6 AM, so Mom and Dad are still a little tired, but I am always ready to go at this time.

My first Levis

I finally got to try on my first Levi's this week. This also happens to be one of dad's favorite pictures of mom and I. I still have a little growing to do, but you know how it is, they still only do the even number sizes.

Stand Up!

I am getting much better at standing, grandad Ward was amazed how long I can do this for when I visited him last week.

Tummy Time

As you can see, I am getting much better at tummy time. I have figured out how to roll over all by myself. Still working on the crawling thing, but rolling over is really fun

Mom and Dad call me bug man, probably due to my "bug shoes" that I finally wore today. They look like little lady bugs

My four month birthday!

Today I am a big boy, as I am four months old! Dad started the day with a duck walk to Stow Lake where I stood on the side walk and jumped up and down while the ducks played with me. Then Mom thought it would be fun to try the beach at Chrissy Field. Mom, Dad, Grandma Julie, the two dogs and I all went down to the beach and had a good time. I must have seen 100 different dogs. Dina and Liza(grandma Julie's dogs) protected me from any that came my way. For the first time I got sand everywhere so dad and mom had to give me a big bath when we arrived home. I really liked the beach and hope we go again soon! This is the first nice weekend of weather we've had in a long time so it's been nice to be out so much.

My visit with Cousin Emma

Well today was a rather momentous occasion. I met my cousin Emma! She's nine months old and down visiting from Idaho with my aunt Erica and Uncle Tadd. Emma and I had a grand time playing with toys at grandma Diane's today. Emma can sit up and she really is a talker so I really enjoyed getting to know her. Mom also enjoyed getting to see Tadd and Erica. She doesn't get to see them much.
On other news, tomorrow is dad's birthday so mom and dad are going out tonight which means I have nannie. That will be nice.
I have also been spending lots of time with grandma Julie now that she is back from Europe.
The weather has been rather unpredictable so mom and I haven't gotten out on as many walks as we like but we are doing fine.
Anyway, I guess that's all to report today. Sorry we've been so absent. Mom's computer has been broken making it very hard to update this site.
Have a good week all!
