Sunday in the country

After we visited Tom we went to Grandma's house and I did a little swim in my little pool. You can see I was making Dad all wet with my world class kicking! We also had a little dinner out there before we came home. I was really tired out after all the activity today, I came home and went to sleep. There is also a funny video of me, as long as your not offended by naked baby and a little accident. I was having so much fun watching Grandma blow up my little pool.

Visiting Tom

I finally got to visit Mom and Dad's friend Tom. From what they say, if there was not a Tom, who knows if there would be an Andy as he introduced Mom and Dad. I wasn't quite sure what to make of him at first, but we sure had quite a bit of fun with the book he gave me. I showed how well I kick all day, and Mom and Dad told Tom about the fact that is how I play the piano now, with my feet. The best part was playing with the wrapping paper my book came in, I had so much fun with that and we laughed and laughed and laughed!!

My little car

This is my new little walker, it's a special Elmo mobile, with Baby Cookie Monster and Big Bird, plus it plays lots of fun music. And the best part is I can scoot around in it!

Mom and I

Mom and I were outside looking at our overgrown garden a little bit, so we thought we would share a couple of pictures from there

My Friend the Dog

Last time I was at Grandma's house I met this really nice dog. He seemed to like me and I thought he was the nicest dog, especially for a big one! Grandma has her two little dogs, but at least I am taller than them.

Bedtime with Oski

At night my favorite guy lately is Oski the Bear. If he isn't around, I have a hard time going to sleep, but if he is it makes everything o.k. Of course sometimes as you can see I am not ready to go to bed right away!

I say MA MA!

Well don't look now, but I TALK! Yes I've been babbling for quite some time now complete with inflections and screams. Today I had a breakthrough though and looked right at mom and said "Ma ma!" I think mom just about passed out from joy. I now also say "ba ba" which is what I call my bottle when I am hungry. I've become a very active little guy. Not napping much but sleeping very well at night. I also have gotten very good at sitting up on my own and can almost pull myself up from laying down to sitting. I like to go the playground and swing and play with the sand and watch all the big kids walk around. Mom and I still go on our morning walks every day and I've become a big fan of ducks and anything that flies. The cats and I have become very good friends. Oh and I'm starting to try to walk. I'm not a big fan of crawling. I'm also getting really good with my solid foods. I really like spinach, potato, butternut squash, corn, chicken, turkey, veggies and sweet potatoes(this is all ground up since I still don't have teeth). I'm not a big fan of fruit yet and I'm getting very proficient with the sippy cup.
Life has been pretty chaotic here without a nanny and mom and I have been solo a lot. Dad has been working very hard and we miss him very much.
Today we went to the Carter's store and stocked up on 9 and 12 month old clothes since I've outgrown everything else.
Hopefully, some pictures will come soon both mom and dad are home this weekend so stay tuned.

Update coming soon

Sorry I have not been able to post much lately. Mom and Dad have been going through Babysitter nightmares lately which makes Mom exhausted and that spills over to Dad. So basically they have not had any free time in about 7 weeks. Dad has filmed some nice little videos of me in my new Sesame Street walker he hopes to add soon as well as some great shots with my buddy Oski who keeps me happy when I sleep. Trust me, plenty going on, just have not had a chance to let you all know about it yet!
