Guy Smiley!

More shots from our trip to the pool. Dad and Mom made me laugh so many times, and we thought you would like to see some pictures of that

The Pool

It has been a really long week for me, while being out at Grandma Julie's last weekend in the perfect weather, somehow I caught a cold. It was really bad, sometimes I could not breath and it was scary for me as well as Mom and Dad. Both Dad and Mom worked overtime this week to make me feel ok, so I really appreciate that. Dad even had to skip Opera and Trader Vics with Mom to take care of me on Saturday, and I wasn't nearly as entertaining as those two things. But he helped me get through a miserable day of the sniffles so I could get better. On Sunday, it was still ugly in the City, and Dad and Mom wanted no part of going anywhere near "La Caux Au Folles (Gay Pride Parade)" so we headed down to Atherton to catch some sun. Since I have now had two weeks of swimming lessons, it was time to get in the pool with Mom and have a good swim. We also tried the hotub, which was the perfect temperature. We had boats and inflatable dinosaurs in the pool with us as well. When I wasn't in the pool I had a good time lounging around it with my toys and my buddy Penguin.

New Outfit

Mom and Dad thought I looked pretty good in this new outfit, so as you can imagine Dad brought out the camera so everyone could see. You can see Mom's roses are coming in behind us on the deck, makes for a very pretty background

Swim lessons!

Well today mom and I had quite an adventure. We tried swim lessons. It was grand fun! I had a lot of fun kicking! The pool was nice and warm and all the other moms, dads, and kids were super nice. I am, once again, the youngest baby there but that doesn't seem to matter. Most of the kids in my group were toddlers and older and have been doing this for a long time. I got sang to a lot and got to play with all kinds of cool water toys! I did learn how to back float which was kind of neat. I'm not a big fan of getting my face in the water so we're going to wait a while on that one. I also didn't like the whole shower thing.
Mom says as I get older all these things won't scare me as much.
So another fun adventure to add to my list.
Music school on Friday. I can't wait!

My visit to the cardiologist

Well I had a great day today! I went to visit this doctor called a cardiologist. She was so nice! They didn't make us wait too long which mom appreciated and they were all very nice to me. They made me laugh and smile a lot! I got hooked up to a thing called an EKG which was very sticky and itchy. Then they did a thing called an echocardiogram. I was really interested in that and watched the TV with great interest. Mom thought it was cool too. So I'm all healthy and fine. My heart murmur will most likely go away in the next couple of years as my heart gets more mature.
It was a good day and all the doctors said I was the nicest, best behaved baby they had had all day. That made mom and dad very happy.
Over the weekend I was at grandma Diane and grandpa Wards' house while mom and dad went to the opera. They had a good time and so did I.
Also got to spend some time with grandma Julie and grandpa Wally out at their Lagunitas house. That was really cool to be out in nature like that.
Anyway, happy baby here!

First trip to Atherton

So I made my first visit to Great Grandma's House in Atherton where there is this enormous bath tub called a "pool". I was not quite ready for the pool, but loved rolling around on Great Grandma's green grass, and lounging around on the pool chairs. Mom dressed me all up in my swim outfit, but the water was a little to cold to go in. Dad remembered when he put my feet in the cold water in Yosemite and I over-reacted a bit. I am sure there will be many comments on my cool hat.

Gourmet Meals

I am really enjoying eating these days. I am still working on it and can be a little messy at times, but overall you can see I am pretty happy with it. Mom and Dad say the food actually gets much better as I get older. Grandad's Ribs and Grandma's tacos are something I am supposed to enjoy later on in life

Duckies

So after our zoo trip Friday, we went up to Stow Lake on our Saturday walk. You can see I was really happy because we saw a new family of duckies. Mom brought her bread so she was feeding all the baby ducks, which are the little fuzzballs in the picture. Mom said the little duckies were probably only a day or two old. To top it off, when Mom and Dad took me for a walk on Memorial day we discovered another group of new duckies in the pond at the Arboretum, then the Canadian Geese had a couple of little gosslings up at Stow Lake on Tuesday. So many fuzzy new friends to visit!

Penguins

Last Friday Dad had the day off so he took Mom and I to the Zoo so I could see my friends the penguins. As you can see, I love watching these guys and can do it forever as they are really funny! We also saw the Hippo and he was moving around which was unusual, he sure is big. And like usual all the Bears in the back were playing around with each other which gets me all excited.

Update

Well let's see..Where to start? Last weekend I had both mom and dad home. It was SO NICE! We went to the zoo which is always fun. Then we went to my great grandma's house in atherton which I really liked because she had a big lawn I could roll around. I'm getting really good at rolling! Sunday mom and dad had a day for themselves and I stayed with nannie Saane which was nice.
This week, we've been very busy visiting grandma Julie and grandpa Wally. There's a great park by grandma Julie's house with a cool swing and lots of sand. I like to eat sand! I also love grandma Julie's dogs! They are very fluffy and fun to play with. When the sun was out, we went and hung out at the park a lot and I got to work on my tan! Now the fog is back and mom is rather depressed because the grass at the park is too wet to play on.
Mom has bought me a new car seat because I have outgrown my infant one. It's very big and comfy! Mom says she'd like to be driven around in it. Tomorrow I get to try musical play group. I'm very excited about that.
Dad took lots of fun pictures of me last weekend but I don't know how to put them up on this site so you'll have to wait for him to do that.
Oh yeah, I'm getting really good at sitting up too. I like to sit up and play with my toys. I also really like to eat my cereal now. I'm actually starting to figure out how to chew! Mom says this is very good. I really like to play with my spoon. Mom calls me "The Little Conductor."
Anyway, I know you all hate to wait to hear what I'm up to so there you go!
