Visiting Grandma Z

This weekend I also went over and spent time with Grandma Z. She always has lots of great toys for me to play with like the Cat in the Hat, Jack in the Box and I really liked carrying the clown push toy around. Grandma was very impressed at how well I empty all the toys out of the basket, only to put them back in. Then I took Grandma on a tour of her house and helped her by opening all the droors I could find in her office. Dad didn't bring his camera because he thought Grandad might be there, and he has the best camera of anyone we know. I missed Grandad as he was playing Golf, something Dad says all three of us will do together someday.

Family Shot

Here is a nice picture of the Ladies and Me (Mom, Grandma and the Dog) as well as a shot of Dad and I walking off into the forest

More Lagunitas

These next pictures are just random ones of all us having a good time out in the country. A couple of them I took with Grandma up in the Tree House. I guess Mom used to play in the Tree House when she was very little

Puddles

Dad didn't have a chance to put up our photos from our second trip out to Lagunitas this month. This time the weather was really nice and I spent some good times with Mom, Dad, Grandma and the dogs. I especially like to play in the puddles.

Crazy Dad

All I can say is I think this was one of those nights where Mom made Margaritas and Dad had a couple! This is me after a bath in my little Reindeer towel outfit.

Surgery, What Surgery?

Friday was a weird day. I got up as normal, then Dad and Mom took me down to the Arboretum and I stomped through puddles for awhile, getting myself very wet. Then we went home and before I knew it I was at some hospital, hungry and running around in my diaper and a little gown. They had to do some minor surgery to fix a couple things on me, but I will spare you the details. Bottom line is I woke up about 4 hours later and everything was OK, and by the middle of the next day I was back to my old self as you can see from these pictures.

Vintage Levi's

Also as part of the Oscars celebration, Mom felt I should get dressed up. Dressing up for me was my vintage Levi's cool uncle Walt gave me a long time ago. I finally fit in them so I wanted to show them off to everyone. Dad says I am starting to look like a little Man, instead of a baby. Heck, I am 15 months so I am definetly not a baby anymore, I am one of those Wobblers, or Teeter Totters or Toddler things I think they call it.

Watching the Oscars

Some people eat Popcorn when they watch the Oscars because Mom says it is like going to the movies. I decided instead of to have a nice bowl of my favorite Honey Nut Cheerios and some Butternut Squash Bisque. I made this crazy pose for Dad although I don't know what I was trying to show him.

Playing at the Park

This weekend I went to the playground to try the swing and try some of the other crazy rides with Mom. You can see I was having a really good time, and I thought you might like to see some pictures of how much fun I was having!

Lighthouse

So Grandama Diane gave Dad and Me this neat lighthouse that works just like a real one! Every night before I go to bed Dad plugs it in and I watch the light circle my room. Here is a couple pictures of me trying to get up close and play with it. Usually I just watch it from my chair when Dad feeds me or in my crib

Andy's Concert

I played a very nice concert today on my mini-xylophone, I thought you might enjoy a picture and a "bootleg" concert video. Dad likes to tape concerts, and since he doesn't get out much at night anymore, he decided to start taping mine.

Bad Hair Day Again : Gavin without the goop

I had another one of my bad hair mornings. This time I was trying to do mayor Newsom without the goop

My First Valentine

Grandma Diane sent me my own special valentine. It has a very pretty envelope and a cute card inside

Mom and Dad Give up

Well, after one night of succesful sleep, everything went bad last night. I have really been pushing my luck with Mom and Dad lately, the routinely spend 3-4 hours up a night between them holding me, babying me etc. Last night no matter what either one of them did I did not like it. Blanket, no blanket, Oski, no Oski, in the chair, not in the chair...So they did last night what they have not done since last August, they just left, both of them. I cried and I cried and I cried, and then I realized this is really stupid, there is nothing to do at 5 A.M. so I just went back to bed and slept in until 7:30.

At this point some of you are probably really concerned, but the funny thing was I woke up at 7:30 AM happy as ever, and I forgot all about crying solid for a half an hour.

Wonder if they are going to do it again tonight, maybe I should just sleep through the night so I do not have to go through all this hassle. The thing I realized yesterday when I actually did sleep through the night (allowing Mom and Dad to do the same) was they were so much happier, and it was better for all of us.

My Book

Some have seen my book from my first year that Aunt Erica did, If you are interested you can purchase it here. Its not for my benefit, just its available if you would like a copy

Lagunitas Weekend

Mom, Dad and I went out to Lagunitas for the weekend because it was raining all weekend and we needed out of our house. I tried out my new rain jacket and liked that I like to play in puddles. I dont like to just stomp in puddles, I like to sit down in the middle of them. There were lots of good puddles and streams in Lagunitas to play in.

Going back to Christmas

Dad never got a chance to put up some of Christmas photos from when I visited with my cousin Emma. We had a good time at Christmas and Santa brought many new toys which are in heavy rotation these days

My Corner

Here is a quick video of me playing in my corner where the Cat Tree is.

Big Sesame Street Fan

Tivo is a great thing. It allows Dad to tape Sesame Street for me everyday, then I watch it early in the morning when Mom and Dad make breakfast. I use to just watch a few minutes, but now I watch it intently. Cookie Monster is really funny, but my favorite is Elmo. Ernie is also pretty funny, and Grover is just goofy. Mom and Dad said when they were kids Snufulupugus was invisible, and nobody believed Big Bird when he told people about him. Somewhere in the past 30 years Snuffy became visible. Even Dad who is kind of an old guy, thinks Sesame Street is funny.

Other Random Shots

Here is a picture of me trying to wear a hat, one playing again with my toys and a couple of me in my favorite corner where I like to hang out and stand on my own

Update on Sleeping

I still don't

More Doggies

Here is a couple still shots of me playing with the Doggie Cart

Out to Lunch

We went out for Mexican food last weekend, I am a big fan of chips. Not sure who this girl is but she was very intersted in me. Hope this trend keeps up when I am in high school
