Shooting Baskets

Since Mom's cousin Jesse is all grown up and married now, someone has to use the Duke basketball and hoop down in Atherton. So I decided to spend about 2 hours today playing basketball with it, even though my version of basketball is a little different (yes, I know I shoot through the bottom of the hoop, but its still fun). Mom, Dad and I had a nice Memorial Day barbeque down there with our friends at the pool.

Getting my haircut

Despite what many people think, I really don't mind getting my haircut. I go to the same place Mom and Dad go to see Mr.Alex, Grandma Zumsteg goes to see Mr.Roy and "Rumor" has it Aunt Betsy and Sarah go to Mr. Tommy. This time I was even ok with sitting in the big chair, and Mr.Alex even gave me a comb to help

My first baseball glove

Mom and I went to the Disney store today, and I picked out my very first baseball glove, bat and ball set. Of course it was a Mickey Glove with all of his friends on it, but I am starting to figure out to put the ball in the glove and how to throw the ball as well. Dad was showing me how to hit the ball with the bat but I am still working on that.

My first drawing

I thought I would share with you my first piece of art. Mom took me to Golden Gate Park today, and they have an art center by the carousel and the invited me in today to play and draw. This was my creation, its sort of modern art, Great Grandma Evie would probably best understand what it all means as that is her specialty. The good news is between my two Grandma's and my Dad, if I like art I will have lots of people to help we with it.
