Playing at home

For for Dad's birthday he got a new HD video camera, a little small one so he could take lots of good movies of me and show you more about my everyday life. Here are a couple ones to start, one of me playing with my trains, and one of my new favorite game of climbing over the couch. Make sure to watch it in HD, there is a little button on the right hand of the video that allows you to turn HD on or off

Andy's new video - Playing Marbles

Making something out of nothing

Sunday started bad, it was raining so Mom and Dad didn't know what to do with me. I terrorized the house, knocked over mom's flowers, etc then Mom and Dad said lets go to the Ferry building since we can't stay here all day

It turned out great, in addition to the usual great things such as ferries, old trains, new trains today there was also a huge crane working on the Ferry terminal, pigeons in the parking lots I could chase for about 30 minutes, then huge puddles everywhere to jump through. Now I am home taking a nap, while dad puts up pictures in that small little window of time

Pardon the slow down

I admit Dad hasnt been keeping this site up as well, mainly because the Facebook interface operates about 100x better than this one. For some reason, Dad doesnt have to re-format pictures for facebook, where as when he does updates here he spends an hour downsizing the photos in photoshop so he can put them up. And we all know how many free "hours" Dad has to sit around and reformat photos.

Also, we are going to be experimenting much more with a new HD video toy real soon, and we will keep you up to date with that. Blogs are so 2006 I guess is the point, but we will still keep it updated as best we can

Train set 3

Since we have had quite a bit of rain, I decided I needed a third trainset in our window box. That way I can watch the cars and truck go by, wait for Dad to get home and play with a train all at the same time

Days in the Park

When it isn't raining, I still love to get out to the playground at Golden Gate Park, or just go down and play Ball with Dad. If we have time I try to get them to take me over to the Turtle pond to look to see if there are any on the rock. This day I was a little down because they were not out yet.

Playing at Grandma's

Here are some photos of me doing what I like to do best at Grandma's. First I make a huge trainset, the I feed the rock turtle and then the final thing is I play on the deck with the gate.

Trains at the Zoo

Mom and Dad took me to the Zoo during the holiday to see Little Puffer the train. Funny thing is I love watching it, but I am scared to death riding it. You can see I was a little scared riding the train, but Dad tried to make me feel better along the way. It was the longest 5 minutes of my life

Xmas at the Zumsteg House

We also went to see Grandma and Grandad Zumsteg for Christmas. Knowing how I love trains, the had there train all set up when I came over, and I also liked the clapping Christmas town they had set up. I always enjoy playing silly games with Grandad and showing Grandma how cute I am. And thanks for all my really nice presents, Santa seems to make multiple stops.

Xmas at the Haas House

We all went out to Lagunitas for Christmas Eve and day this year. As you know, its all about trains for me. When I got out there I built not just one, but two Brio train setups to keep me entertained and then Santa brought me this really cool large train I can push around or ride in. It even has a real bell that I can ring while I push it. Word has it that Grandma and Dad help put this thing together, but Santa delivered it. I also received lots of other nice presents, some that even had nothing to do with trains. It was really great Christmas

Turtles

One of my new favorite thing is Turtle's. I love seeing the pre-historic looking ones in the Swap at the Academy of Sciences. I also like the little ones as well, also at the Academy. This is a picture of one of the little ones. For those that do not know, I go to the Academy of Sciences at least four times a week whether Mom and Dad like it or not. Any time we get within about five blocks of the place, I start chanting "gator" which means take me to the academy!

Visiting Great Grandad

I went over to visit Great Grandad Zumsteg for Xmas...He was doing really well, my only complaint is he has a new motorized chair so I cant push him around quite like I used to. But it was still good to see him and I think he liked seeing me.

Making a Gingerbread House

Mom and Dad took me to Mom's old school (also where Mom and Dad were married) to build a gingerbread house...I was actually pretty good at it, we finished the entire thing, and I only ate about 5-10 piece of candy
