Happy New Year!

Well I rang in the new year by waking up at midnight and not going back to sleep! Mom and dad were not pleased. They explained to me that people stay up on New Year's Eve and well I listened.
So at 7:30am mom and I went out for a long walk so dad could get some sleep. It was very windy! We walked through the park and took note of all the downed trees. It was kind of sad to see all the trees broken by the wind. I slept a little on our walk--the fresh air always knocks me out. I've now been asleep for almost an hour and mom and dad are thrilled.
Other good news is mom went on quite a shopping spree at Gymboree the other day. She bought me some nice fuzzy outfits for the cold weather. I like them very much. I am very partial to tops and bottoms as they make my diaper changes less traumatic. So much faster. Grandma Julie bought me some cute Kissy Kissy brand clothes. Mom likes them a lot.
Yesterday mom and dad dropped me off at Grandma Julie's and they went and saw "Memoirs of a Geisha." They said it was very good and they appreciated the break.
Tomorrow I go see the pediatrician. I'm not too sure if I'm excited about that. I guess the good news is we'll get to find out how much weight I've really gained and how much taller I have gotten.
Dad goes back to work on Tuesday and mom and I are hoping to get back into a better routine of walking and going to DayOne again. It's been very hard to do with the holidays and rain.
